October saw an almost deadly amount of games, from Super Mario Bros Wonder to Spider-Man 2, leaving us with minimal sleep.

But if that weren't enough, there's another round of PS Plus free games this month, and we have the new releases revealed for November 2023.

PS Plus in October was a great month if you liked sci-fi horror games, agriculture sims and top-down immersive sims, as we had The Callisto protocol, Farming Simulator 22 and Weird West to play.

This month still retains the sci-fi horror theme, but has us delving into mafioso machinations and a slightly odd assymetric action game taking place in an iconic anime setting.

As always, you'll have around a month to claim these, so don't dilly dally! Read on to see what gaming goodies await in PS Plus.

From Tuesday 7th November, PS Plus Essential members will be able to claim the following free games:

  • Mafia 2: Definitive Edition (PS4)
  • Dragon Ball: The Breakers (PS4)
  • Aliens: Fireteam Elite (PS4, PS5)

These games will be available to claim from Tuesday 7th November until Monday 4th December. As more games are confirmed for PS Plus, we'll update this page.

What do you get with the other PS Plus tiers?

Along with the aforementioned PS Plus monthly games, depending on your tier of membership, you can get access to hundreds of titles from across all of the PlayStation generations - even including the PSP!

PS Plus Extra nets you the three Essential games, but also grants you access to a whole plethora of great games, some of which are timed - so be sure to claim them before they go.

As long as you do claim them, you’ll be able to download and play them whenever you like, so long as you have an active PS Plus Extra account. Here’s just a handful of some of the great games on offer.

  • Control: Ultimate Edition
  • Death Stranding Director's Cut (PS5)
  • Days Gone (PS4)
  • Demon's Souls (PS5)
  • DOOM Eternal (PS4, PS5)
  • Horizon Zero Dawn

As well as all the games included in the other tiers, PS Plus Premium lets you download and play older titles from PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP to harken back to a simpler time and relive your younger years.

PS3 games are only available via cloud streaming and this is region-dependent, but the UK is included in this list so we won’t miss out.

Below are but a few of the great classics you can revisit.

  • Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee (PS1)
  • Ridge Racer Type 4 (PS1)
  • Resident Evil Director's Cut (PS1)
  • The Jak and Dexter series (PS2)
  • Forbidden Siren (PS2)
  • The God of War Collection and God of War Ascension (PS3)
  • inFAMOUS and inFAMOUS 2 (PS3)
  • Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice (PSP)
  • Killzone: Liberation (PSP)

As a PS Plus Premium subscriber, you also have access to time-limited trials, which lets try before you buy and download a full game and play it for a set amount of time. The length of the trial varies depending on the game.

What’s also great here is that the progress you make on these trials will carry over if you end up buying the full game. We’ve got a selection of just a few below.

  • A Plague Tale: Requiem – Two hours
  • Cyberpunk 2077 – Five hours
  • God of War Ragnarok – Three hours
  • The Last of Us: Part I – Two hours
  • Gotham Knights – One hour
  • Sonic Frontiers – One hour

As you can see, longer RPG and story games get longer trials, so you can really get a good sense of what you’re getting into before you fish out your wallet.
